Driving in the snow is to me very much like flying at warp speed through space. With the snow coming down and the rate of speed that my ship, Dodgemus Datonimum, can reach... well it's a very awe-inspiring experience.
In other news, today is Christmas Eve. Working this past week at the mall has been less than amazing due to the holiday-type customers. You get questions/statements like these:
- Do you have an Xbox connector for Playstation 2?
- I'll take a Mario Party 4 for Xbox.
On top of that, there are the customers who think that they know more than you and as a result, they will correct you.
"Sorry ma'am, Grand Theft Auto wasn't made for the Xbox."
"Yes, it was."
"As far as I know, Sony bought all console rights on the game for the next five years."
"No, I saw it in a magazine."
"Well, we're sold out then."
Enough complaining about my job. My dad will hopefully be getting out of the hospital tomorrow. I know I didn't post saying that he was in the hospital in the first place but I didn't want people to feel sorry for me... especially in light of what Stacey is going through with her father. Suffice to say, my pops is almost to the point in which the doctors feel comfortable letting him head home. The plan is to grab him early Christmas morning. We'll see how that works out.
On the topic of Christmas... Christmas is about one thing: Spending money. Oh, shit, and Jesus. It's about Jesus too, but for the sake of this blog, we will focus on the presents and spending aspects of the holiday season.
Rich spent ass loads of money on my three gifts. From him, I received a copy of Splinter Cell for the Xbox, a copy of Zelda: A Link to the Past for GBA and three packs of animal crossing cards. Have I mentioned that he spent too much? Thought so. Either way, he will get his.... Mom is home and she needs help wrapping presents for the extended family so I'll go get on that after a bit of spinter celling. Later homies.
